Never Solder Another Cable Again – Planet Waves Cable Station
Planet Waves (a D’Addario company) has introduced an interesting new product line called Cable Station. It consists of bulk 75ohm cable and various ends that you install in any configuration and length you wish.
It looks very simple, fast, and easy-to-use. And there’s no chance of burning yourself with a hot soldering iron as no soldering is required. Custom length cables are constructed with a simple cut, twist, and screw. They also offer a cutter with a built in cable tester.
The following cable types are supported:
- Straight 1/4″
- Straight 1/4″ with circuit breaker
- Right-angle 1/4″
- Right-angle 1/4″ with circuit breaker
- RCA
- S-video
- F-connector
- BNC
