It would be really cool if the SSL console was modelled like Waves SSL plugin or something like analogue channel 1. Then I maybe would consider using this. IMHO they are about 4 years too late, Protools 8 has everything I need now.

      Yes, there may not be a need to leave PT8 if that’s what you’re used to now. I’m sure I won’t either. However, it’s an interesting concept that I think will help a lot of people getting started, or that gave been unhappy with what they’ve been doing.

      This is in fact modeled after a SSL console and includes the mix buss compressor. It does not accept plugins other than Reason and Line 6 hardware. In a way, I like this choice. It’s very old school, and a lot of great records got made in that school. Basically, here’s your board, here’s the FX you have in the studio, record something cool!
