My Faith In The Next Generation Of Musicians Has Been Restored – And I’m Jealous
I’ve seen so many kids getting into music via guitar and only learn three or (GASP!) four chords. And they’re content with that. Just a strummin’ and a singin’.
There’s nothing wrong with that, but where are the young movers and shakers? Fortunately, I’ve been getting an ever more frequent glimpse of one here and there, and that’s exciting and encouraging.
Sometimes it also makes me jealous.
Here’s one such case. His name is Jon. Check out this talented young man showing off his prowess as both a musician and a studio aficionado.
This is a cover version of Boston’s “Foreplay/Long Time” presented in split screen. Jon’s playing all the instruments and is the recording engineer. His friend Spencer is doing all the background vocals, and it also features David Steele on lead vocal.
